The staff was so cool, like seriously, they made us feel like part of the crew. We hit up the Amazon Rainforest and the Monkey Island tour, and let me tell you, it was epic! The vibes at the hostel were on point, with a chill rooftop terrace and a kitchen perfect for our late-night snack sessions. Plus, the WiFi was super fast, so we could stay connected while flexing our sick jungle pics on social media. Moicca Hostel, you guys rock!
If I had to pick one thing, it would be cool if the hostel had some more party activities, like a DJ night or a bonfire. Don't get me wrong, the chill vibes were amazing, but us young party animals like to kick it up a notch sometimes.

The welcoming hosts at Moicca made our stay in Iquitos unforgettable. They provided us with the best local tips and genuine advice on prices and activities. The hostel itself was clean, peaceful, and conveniently located near a supermarket and the ferry port. The spacious rooms, powerful showers, and the rooftop terrace were also highlights of our stay. The free breakfasts and access to a large, clean kitchen were much appreciated. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the location not being super pretty and the occasional patchy wifi, we would definitely choose Moicca again without a doubt. we highly recommend this hostel for its warm hospitality and excellent amenities.

Comfy beds and pillows, friendly staff always happy to help. I loved the fully equipped kitchen, it was so convenient to be able to cook my own meals. the location was perfect, with a big supermarket and a fruit market nearby.
The floors could have been cleaner, they seemed to be swept not often enough. the WiFi was a bit patchy when it came to watching videos.

The guest rooms at Moicca Youth Hostel in Iquitos are cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom that makes you feel right at home. Plus, the bed linen is fresh and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. As a vegetarian and vegan, I appreciated having a private space to relax and unwind after exploring the city.
Personally, I found the room a bit smaller than expected, but some might still find it cozy and inviting.

I recently stayed at Moicca Hostel for a few days and it was exactly as advertised. The family-owned hostel was spotlessly clean and the staff, especially Fabio, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The spacious rooms, large lockers, and powerful showers with hot water were a plus. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax, and the well-equipped kitchen was available for guests to use. The newly installed fiber optics provided excellent wifi coverage throughout my stay. it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Fabio and the rest of the staff, for an amazing stay!
Would definitely recommend this hostel.

I stayed at Moicca Youth while exploring Peru and it exceeded my expectations. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and having fans in the rooms made the stay even more enjoyable. Despite its location, I couldn't hear any traffic noise at night, which was a blessing. Being next to a supermarket and fruit market was convenient, and the friendly staff were always there to assist. The lockers were spacious, and having individual lamps on the beds was a nice touch. The fully equipped kitchen had a great range of tea, and the free water was a bonus. this was one of the best hostels I've stayed at in Peru.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I had the best hostel experience during my trip to Peru. the hostel had a family, owned atmosphere, and the staff took great care of the guests. They went above and beyond in terms of cleanliness, ensuring that the rooms, bathrooms, and public areas were always spotless. the beds were comfortable, and the showers were clean with hot water. the hostel had a well, equipped and organized kitchen, and the free breakfast included toast, fried eggs, porridge, and papaya juice. the Wi, Fi was reliable, and there was even a public computer available. the hostel had a quiet and respectful atmosphere, and there were nearby options for shopping for fruit and vegetables.
The slightly dodgy location, which could be a concern for solo female travelers at night.
